Club Listing

  • Aerobic Sports
    Members explore an abundance of fun body movement including: stretching, jumping, twisting, stamping, clapping, hopping and more.  Sports aerobics encourages the wellbeing and physical fitness of strong and healthy growing members.
  • Arts & Craft
    The Arts and Crafts club allows members to experience and enjoy different aspects of art & design which may include: painting, papier mache, collage and clay work to name a few. Members are encouraged to express themselves and create unique crafts and in a relaxed environment.
  • The Ioannou's Basketball and Sportsmanship Club
    A fun club which teaches members basic basketball skills, sportsmanship, team play and participation.
    Sportsmanship is defined by: playing fair, following the rules of the game, respecting the judgment of referees and officials, and treating opponents with respect.
  • Chess
    Recent studies have proven children’s participation in chess activities improves problem-solving skills, self-esteem and sense of responsibility.  The Chess Club provides members with the opportunity to learn the art of the game, ability to compete among themselves using fun, life-size chess pieces.  All levels are welcome from beginners to experts.
  • Codecademy Club
    JavaScript has emerged as one of the leading scripting languages in web development, and it is simple enough to introduce students to Computer Science.  Members will have the opportunity to learn JavaScript through an online curriculum as well as design and explore other programming languages.
  • Dance for Kids
    Israeli Dance: Celebrate the spirit of Israel by learning traditional Israeli dances performed in a circle, partner or line to beautiful music.

    Jazz Dance: Characterized by the use of improvisation and influenced by rhythyms and techniques of jazz music, members learn to dance under the guidance of a professional jazz dance instructor.

    Latin Dance: Originating in Latin America, ballroom examples of latin dance include: salsa, meringue and rumba.  Members celebrate Latin American culture by learning these dances.  All levels are welcome.

    African/Latin Dance:

    Middle Eastern Dance: The Middle Eastern Dance Club offers members the opportunity to learn traditional Middle Eastern dances choreographed to the latest Middle Eastern tunes. Students perform at numerous school and community events.

    Interested in learning a foreign language?  The French club is a conversational club for members to celebrate the French language. Bienvenue!

    Members discover, explore and celebrate the different cultures of the world through music.

  • Mad Scientist
    Do you enjoy experiments? Are you a future great inventor? Members Explore science through exciting and thrilling experiments that will spark an interest in future scientific endeavors.Hone your critical thinking and problem solving skills as a member of the Science Club.
  • Mind Lab
    Mind Lab is an innovative and research based program that helps children ages 5-12 enhance their cognitive, social and emotional skills using internationally-acclaimed thinking games. These games encourage deduction  and induction procedures,  teamwork, communication and the  art of  graceful  winning and losing.
  • Patrols and Youth Crime Watch Club
    The Patrols and Youth Crime Watch club helps members develop character and leadership skills while helping their school communities.  All current patrols are required to join this club.
  • Robotics Club
    Students become young engineers and exposed to S.T.E.M concepts including science, technology, engineering, and math with LEGO robotics technology in a 5-week year-round program.
  • Soccer & Sportsmanship Club (2nd - 3rd grade, 4th - 5th grade)
    A fun club which teaches members basic soccer skills, sportsmanship, team play and participation.

  • Table Tennis
    Members have the opportunity to foster ping-pong skills, sportsmanship, team play and participation in a fun and friendly environment. Sportsmanship is defined by: playing fair, following the rules of the game, respecting the judgment of referees and officials, and treating opponents with respect.
  • The Ioannou's Television Production & Tech Club
    Current and retired ACES newscasters are encouraged to join this club. Students who have a flare for being in the spotlight and a desire to learn more about the inner workings of the television industry will enjoy this club. Communication skills will be enhanced as club members develop confidence and effective presentation techniques.
